Since opening in 1993, this restaurant has earned the distinction of being one of Chicago’s culinary touchstones, offering diverse dishes from the former USSR. Signature dishes include Pelmeni (meat dumplings), Borscht (Ukrainian soup), Blinis (thick Russian pancakes), game, caviar, and an extensive assortment of vegetarian dishes – Tashkent carrot salad, eggplant Orientale, beet caviar, golubtsy (cabbage rolls).
