The French Language Discussion is offering a program open to all, featuring Lili Boulanger’s Clairières dans le ciel ( Clearings in the sky). 

The event , “ On a Musical Journey, ” will feature Paul Dykstra, pianist and Kirsten Leslie Karadzhova, soprano.

The program will showcase a haunting composition by Lili Boulanger, including 13 songs based on poems by Francis Jammes.

The English translation of the French songs will be displayed on screen.

Admission to this performance: $10 to be paid when registering for the event on the IWA site.

Location: Salon des Artistes Studio, Fine Arts Building, 410 S, Michigan Ave, Studio 535, Chicago Attendance will be limited to 45 people.
