"Lost in Forest" Asian Pop-Up Cinema's Season Finale

Film Synopsis: Sheng was once a gang member of the Zhongshan District. He was sent to jail for 12 years after saving his old partner Seagull. After being released, he returns to his old turf and discovers that Seagull is now a mob boss of that turf. He now runs the territory he and Sheng used to fight for, and Sheng wants no part of that life anymore. But when an ambush happens and bullets are shot, Sheng makes a raging decision to avenge a mobster rising in power. Whichever side is chosen, the crossroad is an eternal trap. *Please note, this film contains some nudity, sexuality and a few violence scenes since it’s a gangster movie, although at heart it's about an ex-con’s attempt to start clean.  The lead actor (who is also the producer) of the film has been the 'muse' of a very famous Taiwanese director Tsai Ming-liang.

DIRECTOR/SCREENWRITER: Johnny Chiang

STARRING: Lee Kang Sheng, Chienna Lee, Prince Chiu, Puff Kuo, Vivian Chen

FILM SOURCE: Swallow Wings Films
