At Home with Art

New IWA member Susan Aurinko is an artist and collector.  She designed the home she and her husband share in Lincoln Square. Her studio is on the ground floor of her house. In this event, guests will have the opportunity to see her home, studio, and art collection!

Photographer Susan Aurinko has shown her work in France, Italy, India, Austria and the US. Her photographs are included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Loyola University Museum of Art, The Union League Club of Chicago and in numerous private collections in Europe, India and the US. Her images appear on many book covers, including “The Stranger Among Us,” “Ariel”, “Scar Tissue”, “Slut Lullabies” and “Bound and Broken”. Aurinko has two books, “Searching for Jehanne – The Joan of Arc Project” and “Still Point India”, both of which accompany traveling exhibitions.  Aurinko is represented in Chicago by Hilton/Asmus Contemporary and in India by Kriti Gallery.
