Program: “The African Union” The African Union was founded in 1999, and 55 African countries are now members. Its Secretariat is located in Addis Abbaba. The major objectives are unity, collective prosperity and international cooperation. Consul-General Mazibuko will tell us the history, operations, and aspirations of this important organization.
